Attorney Anne Estevez Hunter is a native Floridian, born and raised in Manatee County Anne earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Centre College, with a double major in biology and history. Anne pursued her legal education at Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida where she received her Juris Doctorate. At Stetson, Ms. Hunter served on the executive board of the Student Bar Association, she actively competed on behalf of Stetson against other law schools as a member of the Client Skills Board where she concentrated in Mediation and Negotiation for Alternative Dispute Resolution. Ms. Hunter became a Certified County Court Mediator while still attending law school. During law school, Anne interned with both the State Attorney’s Office and Public Defender’s Office, giving her a well rounded background.
Immediately after graduation, Anne began her career as a trial attorney for the Public Defender’s Office for Florida’s 12th Judicial Circuit, serving Manatee, Sarasota, & De Soto Counties. As a public defender, Anne has represented thousands of defendants, charged with a crime who otherwise do not have financial access to a private attorney.
